The youngest ones participate in this class with their parents. They learn many Hungarian songs, poems, listen to stories and play a lot.

Group Lead: Emese Bede
"Napocska" class 6 years and older
Group Lead: Anna Nemesszeghy
Méhecske and Napocska classes usually have themes like colors, numbers, animals, family, etc. We are trying to develop the kids' Hungarian language skills by doing a lot of fun activities. In this group the kids also learn many songs, poems, and we read a lot of stories too. We are getting familiar with main Hungarian celebrations and customs.
9:45-10:00 Arrival
10:00-11:00 Circle time
11:00-11:20 Snack time: During the break the kids eat a healthy snack.
11:20-12:00 Arts & Crafts:
The kids draw, paint, play with beads, make puppets, etc. These activities are excellent for introducing American and Hungarian holidays, such as Halloween, or "Farsang", when we -among other things- make masks.
