Let's visit Wallace Falls State Park!
Photo: Chris Tarnawski	Meeting: On Sunday, September 19th, 2010   at 10:00 AM in the parking lot at the trailhead. We are taking a group picture at 10:10. The hike starts at 10:15.   About the hike:  The park has three waterfalls, and our goal is to see the first two of them. From the trailhead to the second waterfall and back the distance is about 4.5 miles.   What to bring:  Camera, family members (especially kids), snacks, water, warm clothes, and good weather.   No registration is required.  No rain day, in case of bad weather the hike is cancelled! Here's the not too promising weather forecast.
Directions: From Seattle: drive U.S. Route 2 East towards Stevens Pass; at Gold Bar turn left and follow the signs for Wallace Falls State Park. There is a parking lot next to the trailhead.   View Larger Map Get Directions
