The Hiking Club is glad to invite you to a Sunday ski day at Snoqualmie pass. All ages and all skill levels are welcome for a bit of winter activities.

Snoqualmie Summit West (I-90 exit 52)
Meeting point: next to the ski lessons area (Little Thunder)
Schedule:
9:00-9:30 AM: Arrive and prepare for skiing:
unpack your gear and obtain your ski lift tickets (everyone buys their own).
9:30 AM: Let's meet fully prepared for skiing. Please come to the meeting point to meet and greet each other. If you plan to participate in the ski lessons feel free to stay with the group. If you choose not to be in the ski class just say hello and stay for the group picture.
10:00-11:00 AM: Free ski lesson courtesy of Peter Heydorn our ski instructor.
12:30 PM: Lunch at Stan's Place. Each skier is responsible to cover his/her cost of food.
Ski after lunch. If there is interest for more advanced skiing feel free to visit Alpental which is a harder mountain to ski, and more technical. There is a shuttle that takes people from Snoqualmie West to Alpental. If you wish to stay on the West slopes you are welcome to ski with our group.
Prepare for the trip:
Bring your ski equipment, snacks/ food, warm clothes. Make sure that any kids who will take the lesson have gone to the bathroom before the lesson starts. Make sure they have already put sunscreen on. Make sure that they have the right snow gear to keep them warm (gloves, warm socks, warm jacket). Make sure they have sunglasses or goggles; as if it's sunny they definitely need them.

- Number of adults and kids
- Ski skill level of the participants
- and if they plan to participate in the group lessons
Like any outdoor activity skiing is highly dependent on weather conditions. In case of bad weather (rain or snow storm) the trip will be canceled. All trip updates will be will be posted on the Home page of the website. The last post will happen ~24 hours before the trip regarding weather conditions.
